Edit task details from cardview with subset of fields wanted

Hi all,

in cardview, if I double click a card, I can edit the details of the task.

Unfortunately calculated fields are shown too, which makes no sense and will irritate other colleagues.

And if someone has the rigths, he is able to overwrite the formula!

Any idea how to not show the fields with formulas in edit mode?

Best would be, to define a form which is used in edit mode.

Unfortunately, it's not possible now, but it's an excellent idea!

Please submit an Enhancement Request when you have a moment.

Here's a possible workaround or workarounds

• Link to another sheet with only the columns that you'd want to show
• Card View is coming to reports, and then it would work.

Your suggested workaraound will not work, because this gives the user not the possibility to edit the presented fields in the original table, isn't it?

Unfortunately, that is correct, but it could be structured to edit it in another sheet, which would link back to the main one.
