Track Who Completed an Item


I am trying to track who actually changes a dropdown to "Completed". I know I can check individually using the cell history, but I need an easier way to monitor who is completing which tasks without having them update the field manually. I have a contact list column I can use for this, but I can't seen to get an efficient way of automatically updating this, either using formulas or automation.

I have used "modified by", but if there are any other changes made to the record, which does happen, this will change again.

Any ideas??? Thank you!
