Does Dynamic View wait for automations to complete before updating values

When an update is made in Dynamic View in the details panel to a field that drives a Record a Date automation (or any automation), does it wait for the automation to complete before showing that the save completed?

Thanks Andree. Do you have any insight into why the save takes a very long time? The underlying sheet is fairly formula heavy and currently has 62391 cells of data. This would continue to grow as the sheet is used to track new resource requests and role assignments
