Creating a Lookup Sheet
Hello My Fellow Smartsheet Gurus,
Today I am in need of some advice. I have a rather larger sheet used to track requests. I have a separate sheet that allows user to type in the a lookup ID and it pulls all the relevant information into a page like view (see attachment) that is easily printable as it scrolls down vs. across. I am using crosssheet formulas to pull in this data. However this vlookup breaks whenever a column in the source sheet is moved and is a source of pain for me.
Is there another way I can build using datamesh for the same result?

Hi @Katye Reed
I hope you're well and safe!
I'd recommend changing the VLOOKUP to an INDEX/MATCH combination instead if possible because then you won't need to worry about columns moving and similar.
Would that work/help?
I hope that helps!
Be safe and have a fantastic week!

Thanks, Andree! That seems like a much better solution then a vlookup. Thanks again for saving the day!

@Andrée Starå - I just realized that I don't know all of the values that will populate. So if someone were to type in Form161, how would use match to pull in the content for the subsequent row?
