Auto add checklists to cards and make automations based on them
I have a Trello board that we are currently using to manage property title agency work. Each card is property and gets automatically assigned a predefined checklist based on the cards custom fields. So if a card is set to a specific state (custom dropdown), a checklist will be assigned to that card. Once that checklist is completed (all items checked off) the cards status automatically changes to the next step. Each step has its own checklist and there are variations based on state for some steps.
We also automatically assign specific users or users in turn from a preset group to the card as it moves along the statuses.
We want to be able to send customers an email update with all the checklists (can be in a pdf) to show what is already done and what is still pending.
Are these features possible in smartsheet to add checklists directly to cards ans run automations based off of what is complete?

I don't see an email or phone number for you. Can you give me details here on how this would work? I already spoke to a representative at smartsheet and they couldn't answer this.

Hi @samm
I hope you're well and safe!
When I have clients moving from Trello to Smartsheet, I usually use a service called bridge24.
I recently developed something similar for a client where I use a master status/selection area that automatically populates the child rows/tasks.
Another way would be to use cross-sheet formulas (VLOOKUP or INDEX/MATCH) with predefined structures.
So, in short, what you want to do, seems possible, but it depends on the specifics.
Make sense?
Can you describe your process in more detail and maybe share the sheet(s)/copies of the sheet(s) or some screenshots? (Delete/replace any confidential/sensitive information before sharing) That would make it easier to help. (share too, andree@workbold.com)
Would that work/help?
I hope that helps!
Be safe and have a fantastic 4th of July weekend!
