Restrict Users to edit based on assigned to column

Dear Smartsheet Community,

Can someone please help me if there is any way to restrict the users to edit only those rows where they are in the assigned to column. So basically we don't want other users to edit any other users row.

Unfortunately, it's not possible now, but it's an excellent idea!

Please submit an Enhancement Request when you have a moment.

Here's a possible workaround or workarounds

• Premium App, Dynamic View
• Premium App, WorkApps
• I recently developed a (what I call) Dynamic View Light. It's quite advanced, but in short, it's using cross-sheet formulas and INDEX/MATCH and a specific structure and method, so it's only possible to show data that should be available.

Would any of those options work/help?

Thank you for replying on my question. At least now I am clear on this and can explore any other possibility for this in WorkApps. I have submitted the enhancement request and hope Smartsheet will have this feature soon :)
