Record a date

So i have set a automation of Record date. As yo can see from the picture I would like to know when statues changes to "In progress" Record date. i have also set this up for Complete. Delayed. and start & stop. My question is. Is why does it not record a date when i go back and click one of these items that i have already created? when i go forward on new ones it does it.

How are you changing the Status value, is this a manual change that you're doing or is the Status updated from a formula? If it's updated with a formula, does this formula either reference a cell-link or use cross-sheet references?
