Proofing and attachments

I've started using smartsheet as document / drawings management and building the Quality Management System into smartsheet.

Question - Attachments and Proofing are complete separate functions with no link in between the two?

Attachments has versioning control + able to add up issued drawings / documents.

Proofing is a separate function but identical to above with added benefits of being able to mark up pdfs during review and ask / record approval. Once approved it can / does not move to attachments.

Any tips / examples for using smartsheet for technical document / drawing storage would be great.

Can you describe your process in more detail and maybe share the sheet(s)/copies of the sheet(s) or some screenshots? (Delete/replace any confidential/sensitive information before sharing) That would make it easier to help. (share too, andree@workbold.com)

Thank you Andree for the confirmation there is no link between the two. The second part was if anyone had already used it for drawing document control. I will test the two fucntions and develop from there.
