Referencing/Linking a Date to other Cells in the same sheet

Hi all,

I'm looking for assistance in linking a date to other date cells within the same sheet.

Here's my use case: I have my project milestone dates at the top of my smartsheet. Sometimes these dates change. When I change the project details date, I want the "launch date" to change in other cells within the same sheet too.

Is there a formula or way to link this? I have upwards of 2k rows, so manual copy/paste is not efficient.

Are you using the dependency settings with predecessors?

Hi Paul,

I am trying to do a similar application. I would like to link Start Date and End Date to certain cells within the same spread sheet. Both linked cells are in same Date column. The cells are set up with Predecessors.

Any help will be appreciated.

The formula =[Start Date]# - where # is the row number of the cell I am trying to link to. This is not working
