Data validation for numbers only doesn't work on mobile devices

A very recent feature to validate data types as numbers only on forms is not working on mobile app or mobile browsers if you use decimals. Only whole numbers do not give off "Enter a valid value" error over the data entry box. Desktops are unaffected, however, as I can enter decimals with numbers fine. I just changed all of my columns that had incremental number lists on a single drop down column type to this new feature and now I have to return them all back. Is anyone else having this issue?

Thank you for reporting this issue! Our team was able to find the cause and apply a fix.

You should now be able to submit decimals through a form submission with Number validation applied to that field, even if you are submitting the form on a mobile device.

I'm able to replicate what you're describing, I receive an error when trying to enter a decimal value into a Text/Number field with Number validation in a form, but only through a mobile device. I've escalated a ticket with Smartsheet Support on this issue so they can look into this. They'll follow-up with you directly, and I'll follow-up on this post once we have more information.

You should now be able to submit decimals through a form submission with Number validation applied to that field, even if you are submitting the form on a mobile device.

I've tested numbers only validation with multiple forms and devices (iOS) and I'm still unable to use decimals on the mobile app as of the time of this comment. Still shows "Enter a valid value" unless its a whole number.

I'm able to submit decimals through a form on an iOS device in the mobile app. However, if I have a space after the value this is currently recognized as text and won't submit. Is it possible you're adding a space to the end of the value?

Can you post a screen capture of the message you're receiving and the value you've tried?

Percentages don't allow decimals either. There is no spaces anywhere in the number entries.

I'm unable to replicate this (and my apologies for the test submission in the form!)

Can you please contact our Support team with these screen captures (or a screen recording if possible), the type of phone you have, the version of the app you're using to access the form, the form link, and if any other users you share the form to are experiencing the same thing.
