Summary Report for Unchecked Boxes
I'd like to run a summary report to count the unchecked boxes in a column. Instead of the below report that counts checks, I want to count unchecked and have a report for a dashboard. Any way to do this?
And if this is not possible via a summary report, any ideas on how to get a count of the number of unchecked items for the last 7 days for each of my 15-20 columns, onto a dashboard so it can be reviewed daily?
What is missing from this view is the responsible person's name. I want to show a total of incomplete tasks, but also be able to show who is responsible for that task.

Not within a report unfortunately. Feel free to Submit a Product Enhancement Request when you have a moment.
In the meantime, the only thing I can think of is a metrics sheet with cross sheet references in COUNTIFS formulas.

Hi @Andrea Westrich
Hope you are fine, if you like to fix the formula directly on your sheet please share me as an admin on a copy of your sheets ( Source & Destination ) and i will write the exact formula for you then you can copy it to your original sheet.

Hello @Bassam Khalil. Thank you for your willingness to help.
I'm not sure I understand what you want to do. What I'd like to do is have the Report, not the sheet count unchecked boxes so the report can go on the dashboard.
I am able to write a formula to count unchecked boxes (I think), but that does not solve my problem of having this information on a daily dashboard. Do you have an idea for that?

Are you able to apply an additional filter to only pull rows that are unchecked?

@Paul Newcome, that would be a possibility, however, I want to count each checkbox that is not checked and that means that other boxes in that row might be checked. Does that make sense? I need a count of every unchecked box for the last 7 days even if other boxes on that row were checked on any given day.
Then I need to put this on a dashboard for daily review. The totals would come from 6 separate sheets. I'd like a report so the manager can see which sheet/task has unchecked boxes and a total by task is nice so we can see which tasks are consistently not being done.
Any ideas?

So basically you want the opposite counts of what is currently in the report in your screenshot?

@Paul Newcome, exactly! Is that possible???

Thank you @Paul Newcome, I'll give that a try.

Sorry I couldn't be of more help.

@Paul Newcome you were of help. I was able to do this workaround. It's not pretty, it's time-consuming, but it does work.
Thank you for taking the time to confirm the easy option will not work, it was very helpful. Hopefully, we will see an enhancement in the future!
Many thanks!
