Linked data not showing up in my Chart widget in a dashboard.
I have multiple sheets (functional area) that have a percentage complete formula for each of their sheets that lead to a overall total sheet that is linked to each to show total percent complete of the project. Every formula is correctly operating and the linked data shows to the overall status complete sheet.
When I attempt to create a column chart on the dashboard, I select the overall sheet with the collected linked data. Nothing is showing up on my chart. I have edited the widget to show "Percent Complete" and nothing happens just like if you select "Apply all to series".

How exactly are your percentages being entered? Are they being entered as plain numbers into text/number columns that are formatted to show as percentages?

Getting the data from a Checked Box column, so I created two additional hidden columns to calculate total checked boxes and total boxes. Then I created a formula in a specific cell, =([Checked Box]1 / [Total Box]1) * 100 + "%".
That populates correctly, where you see them listed in Figure 1 (Percent Complete)

Ok. There's the problem. the
+ "%"
is converting it to a text string. Charts need numbers.
What is the formulas you are using to calculate how many are checked and how many total there should be?

That worked! I just removed the "+"%"" from the formula and ran the chart off of numbers. Thank you.
