Customized Data Entry Views
We have master sheets with over 100 rows and it gets very labor some to enter data at different phases of a a project. I understand that form views are a nice way to enter data but that they can only be used one entry per row. Is there a way to go back into form view at a later time and by a drop down menu of the primary column select a row that you add additional data in through form view? If not, is there a better way to customize different data entry views? For example, we may want to enter all of the information we have on a client at the time the row is created but then we want to go back in and check a box or add a date or add additional information into the other columns. How can we do that without scrolling through 100 columns?
I tried this in card view and it did not work.
Appreciate any help you can offer!

Hi @Amy Shank
I hope you're well and safe!
Welcome to the Community and the wonderful world of Smartsheet!
You could use the Edit Row feature by double-clicking on the row at the start of the row or by right-clicking on a row and select Row Actions and then Edit Row, and that will show similar to a form.
Make sense?
Would that work/help?
I hope that helps!
Be safe and have a fantastic week!

Thank you for the quick response Andrée! Is this view customizable so that say only the date columns would appear or only the revenue columns etc?
This appears to be a form view of all the 100+ columns and we would like to limit the scrolling needed to find the field that needs to be updated.

Happy to help!
You could either use the premium app, Dynamic View, or use a report instead.
Would that work/help?
