Request a ‘snapshot’ of your sheets, available now!

Hi Community, 

Great news! Licensed sheet owners and admins can now request a “snapshot” of their sheet from a prior date. 

From the sheet’s Activity Log, navigate to the change or specific date / time, and click the new “Request Snapshot” button. The snapshot will be sent to the sheet owner only via email in Excel format. The Excel file will only contain grid data and comments. Conditional formatting, attachments, notifications, cell history and any formulas that are not compatible with Excel (column formulas, @row, @cell, cross sheet formulas, etc.) are not supported at this time.

Only 1 snapshot request can be submitted at a time on any given grid. Once the snapshot is sent via email, another request can be submitted. For more information, please read our help article.

This is awesome from a retention basis. One of our clients' legal department is in absolute love with the history and the proofs. All of their legal team members are now required to use the proofs instead of attachments. They're going to love this.
