Why are the formula examples from the help section not working in practice?

Hi all,

I'm fairly new with smartsheet, and I'm getting errors trying to use the direct help examples they provide for formulas. Does anyone know why, or what I'm doing wrong? I appreciate any insight!

If you change the column, In Stock? to a Checkbox Column, it should work.

If you put true in quotes it works as it is a string value. It may just be a typo in the Example Formula.

=INDEX(COLLECT([Transaction Total]:[Transaction Total], [In Stock?]:[In Stock?], "true"), 1)
