Is there a way to show the history of a cell in another column on the corresponding row?

I have a due date column on my smartsheet, but would also like a column that shows the cell history of that due date so it is visible on the sheet without having to click on cell history each time. Is there a way to automatically populate the cell history from one cell to another cell?
