Pivot Count Formula Column

Does Pivot count values in a formula column? I've tried to write a pivot from a Report source where the column and values are the same formula column - it runs endlessly "Creating". Help Please

Hey @Gladys Liley,

The Pivot App does have the ability to count values within a Formula Column. This is still true even if the data is referenced within a Report source. I've created the example below on how this may be setup:

• Column Formula: =Numbers@row + Numbers@row

• I've created a simple Pivot that Counts how many Math Cells exist per A,B, and C and their respective Numbers

• As you can see, the resulting Pivot Sheet is able to calculate the Math Column that has the Column Formula

You also mentioned that you have set the same Formula Column to the Columns and Values Field. This is possible, but as the Values change, the Columns Field will change as well.
