Commenter Access
My user has been granted Commenter access to my sheet, but is getting this message when he tries to add comments:
"You must have Commenter permissions or higher to leave comments".
I updated his access to "Editor - can share". He still can't do anything in the sheet. Can't comment, can't attach, can't really do anything. He is a free user.
What are we doing wrong?

Hello!
Can you check if the row is locked? We've run into that before where automation is set to lock the row or the notes column (for example) is locked.

None of the rows or columns appear to be locked. I'm not even sure how to lock a column.

Hi @LRKerekes
Free Collaborator permissions will depend on the type of plan that you have as well as the sharing permissions.
If you are on a Pro Plan, free users will only be able to View your Smartsheet items, regardless of their sharing permissions. You'll want to add them as a licensed member of your plan in order to have them edit or comment on your sheets. See: Sharing and widgets in the Pro plan
Cheers,
Genevieve
