Can a smartsheet created as a grid be converted to project sheet?

I have several sheets that were created with the grid format, but would like to have the features of the project sheet format added (duration, % Complete, automated finish date adjustment, etc.). The original smartsheets created have numerous customizations that I would like to carry over without having to recreate. Is there a simple way to update the original to include these functions without having to start over?

I think I discovered the answer myself. By "enabling dependencies" in the sheet's project settings it adds the predecessors and duration columns with the pre-programmed capabilities.

Yes you are correct! I'm glad you were able to figure this out. Here are some resources you may find helpful as you work in your Project Sheet:
- SmartStart free webinar: Project Management
- Project Management Tutorial
- Project Sheet Columns: Start Date, End Date, Duration, % Complete and Predecessors

I have a regular sheet (not setup as a project sheet) and see no where to enable project dependencies. Can you provide more instructons?

Hi @michelle.johnson@oliverwyman.com
Change your view to be a Gantt View. From here you'll be able to access Project Settings!
