Taking the Core App Skills Exam

I hope someone can answer this for me. I am trying to retake the Core App Exam (Capstone Quiz) and seems that I do not have anymore attempts. Is there period of time where i have to wait until i can take it again or is that it for me? How do i reset it? Its 2 part and i have part 1 completed, but now im stuck because i can not take part 2. HELP Please.

Where can i go to print out my Core App Skills Badge certificate and where can i go to see my badge? Are there instructions on how i can add my badge to to my linkedin page or social media?

Congratulations for completing the exam! The Badge will be automatically added to your Community profile in the coming week or two.

It will also be available for you to add to your LinkedIn and Social Media through your Profile in the Smartsheet University. See the FAQ section on this page: Smartsheet University Badging

Again, this can take some time to appear after the quiz has been evaluated, so I would check in next week and email the training team if you haven't seen anything after two weeks.

Three attempts is great but I would love to know what areas I need to work on.....pretty disappointed in the structure.

I attempted to take the exam at the end of this course but there was missing fields of data. I deleted and re-downloaded the content and it is still incomplete. For example one question was asking to count the colored circles in the status column but there are none.

Hi @avandam

It's been a while since I've taken the Capstone, but can I confirm that you completed the Capstone Exercise before taking the quiz?

The Exercise has you manipulate the sheet to add columns/data. My guess is that one of the sheet manipulations is a formula in that Status column, so the quiz is checking that your formula was built correctly.

I've managed to get access to the Core App Capstone Exercise material and my assumption above is correct 🙂

Take a look at the sheet titled "START HERE: Core App Skills Badge Exercise". This has a list of instructions to complete before taking the quiz.
