Smartsheet is truncating text when I export to Excel

I have a column with a large amount of text in it (about 500 characters). When I export it to Excel, it truncates the column to 255 characters. Why? And how can I get it to export all the data in the field?

Is it a formula?
Excel has a limit of 255 characters for formulas.

Viewing Access After 30-Day Trial

Colors will not move over from Grid view to Calendar view.
I have two conditional formats set up. They change the color of rows if a value is met. The formatting works in grid view, but only one color will move over to the calendar.
Why is conditional formatting not working on my sheet?
I have set up this conditional formatting rule to highlight a row when the Customer Name is #No Match. So far it is not working. I have tried changing it to contains instead of is and still doesn't work. What am I doing wrong? Janet
