Update request via barcode

Hello,

I am trying to set an "Update request" to be fulfilled vis barcode scan. The same fields have that capability in forms, but doest seem to be the same in an update request. Any tips?

Hey Bill.

Can you walk me through a use case for this?

Is it basically something like

"When a user scans the barcode, create a new row on the sheet"? Or is the barcode scanning a "trigger" to send an update request?

Hello Brett,

So the scenario is: In a form, using a smartphone, a text/number field shows the option for scanning from the camera. That same field, in an update request does not seem to offer that scanning option.

Does that help clarify it enough?
