Conditional Formatting does not seem to allow Automations to Function Properly

I had several automations setup and they were working correct.

Then I added the Conditional Formatting to the table (to change row color IF a column chanegd) and the Automation stopped working.

Both the Automation and Conditional Formatting were based on the same trigger. Is it possible to set both conditional formatting and automation on the same trigger?

The two should not be related to the function of each other. Is it possible something may have changed in the Automation?
