Solution for spreadsheet VLookUp type function from another sheet to populate drop down?
I'm looking to populate a dropdown based on "VLookUp" values from another sheet. Is there a clever way to mimic a dynamic drop-down based on another sheet in Smartsheet?

Hi @404.IRL
There currently isn't a way to populate a dropdown list by using a Formula in Smartsheet (please submit your request to the Product team by filling out this form, here!)
You can update dropdown values using the Premium Add-on Data Shuttle if your plan has access to it.
Cheers,
Genevieve

Hi @404.IRL
That's great to hear!
So you would want to set up two workflows in Data Shuttle:
1) First, set up an Offload Workflow to create at Attachment on the source sheet where your dropdown values are located.
See: Create an Offload Workflow in Data Shuttle
2) Second, create an Upload Workflow that is triggered by the Newest Attachment on that sheet which then updates the second, current sheet.
See: Create an Upload Workflow in Data Shuttle
Let me know if this helps or if I can clarify further!
Cheers,
Genevieve

@Genevieve P. Thank you much! Luckily, we do have Data Shuttle. Do you have a link you can share to point me on how to apply it to my use case?
