Using Forms, I want to include a link to another Smartsheet that is accessible via cellphones

Hello!

Employees report their absence using a Smartsheet "Attendance" form, usually from their cellphone. I've created a "picture map" on a separate Smartsheet grid to show new employees the different buildings and managers and linked it to my form (it's pretty confusing with 5 of the buildings on the same street).

The link works great if the form is opened from a computer, but the link does not open from a cellphone. Any suggestions on how to remedy this?

When you say that the link "doesn't open" on their mobile, are they getting an error or does is the link not clickable at all?

Can you also confirm what type of link to the sheet you're providing - is it a Published link or the URL of the sheet they're shared to? If it's a URL of the sheet, the best way to open this would be if they had the Smartsheet mobile App installed on their phone (see: Get Up and Running with Smartsheet for iOS / Get Up and Running with Smartsheet for Android)

Hi @Genevieve P. ! The link is not clickable - it looks like all the other text surrounding it.

I am using a published link. I'm not sure I could get everyone on our production floor (automotive manufacturing - about 400 production workers) to download the app on their personal devices...

My apologies for the delay!

I'm unable to replicate what you're seeing - if the published link is a URL in the form and is clickable on your computer, it should also be clickable in a mobile device. I would suggest reaching out to Smartsheet Support with screen captures of what you're seeing, along with the Form URL and mobile device types so they can work with you in a private channel.
