How to edit a workspace

I have been given "Editor-cannot share" permissions by the owner of a workspace but I am unable to make any edits in the shared workspace. When I try to double click on an empty cell, I do not get to edit it. Please advise.

Hi @Neil Watson yes, I clicked on the link of workspace, once it opened, i clicked on the respective sheets to make edits to the individual cells in the sheet, but the system doesn't allow me to make any edits, I don't get the edit cursor.

Hi @Satinder Kaur

Is it possible that you are trying to edit a cell in a Report? Empty rows at the bottom of a Report type of item have no sheet associated with them, so you won't be able to add data.

If I'm incorrect and you're attempting to work in a Sheet, I would suggest contacting Smartsheet Support so they can work with you in a Private channel. That way you can share a screen capture of what you're seeing, along with the sheet URL and the Workspace name.
