Automation of moving data in the same sheet

Hello!

Does anyone know how to make an automation of moving data from one column to another within the same sheet? Or have same problem as me?

I have tried and tried but have never found a way to get automation to take the value of 'cell 1' and use it to set the value of 'cell 2'.

You COULD go through a crazy in-depth process of qualifiers and stuff to make it "look" like it was doing it but I have not gotten it to work though.

What you might be able to do would be to have a second sheet in the background that has formulas and automation set up that (kind of) accomplish what you are wanting and then have the first sheet reference those new cells.

Let me know if this sounds like it would be worth looking into and I can guide you a bit.
