Do DataMesh actions track to a copied sheet (Save as New)?
I have a DataMesh targeted to SHEET A. If I copy SHEET A, using "Save as New", creating SHEET A2, will DataMesh now target data to SHEET A2? I'm hoping it doesn't! I'm using Save as New to archive a sheet every month, but I want the data in SHEET 2 to become stagnant when it's archived. Thank you!

DataMesh will stay linked to the original sheet and it won't follow any copies made!
It uses the Sheet ID when you set up the workflow (see this under File > Properties in the sheet). Copying a sheet with Save as New will create a completely new, unique Sheet ID.
This means you should be able to do exactly what you described: create a copy with Save as New, then this copied sheet is the stagnant, archived sheet.
Cheers,
Genevieve
