I am unable to add a column to a sheet that I am an admin on
Hi,
My boss shared a sheet with me. We both have licenses. She is the owner, I am an admin.
When I go to add a column it is greyed out.
Please help.

When I look to share the sheet with others, I see that I am listed as admin. I also have an active license.
Thanks for trying....
I opened it up again from scratch in a different browser.
It appears the issues is that the person who came me owner, used a different email and I really did NOT have admin. I was in there twice but with 2 different email addresses.

You might need to check your sharing level permissions on that sheet. Make sure you're really an admin on the sheet, and double-check your license status.
Also possibly, you may be working in the sheet but if it's been open for a while you may have been "logged out" in the background. Close it and open it in a new tab and see if that helps.

Would you be able to provide a screen capture of what you're seeing? Can you add columns to other sheets you're shared to?
If it's just this one sheet, is it possible that the sheet in question is reaching its size limit, so adding another column would add too many cells to the sheet? (See: System Requirements and Guidelines for Using Smartsheet)
Cheers,
Genevieve

How was this problem corrected? Smartsheet is restricting my access to editor based on another profile outside of the licensed profile with admin access.
It shows I have admin access under the business license:
But I'm still unable to customize the sheets.
In the sheet it has me down for editor access:
Please advise.

Also, to confirm we have a business account with three licensed users of which I'm one:
-
Never mind. I was able to request under File>Share> for admin access from editor access.
