Unable to view dynamic view associated with non-primary email address

Hi, I have a user with 2 email addresses associated with the smartsheet account. They are unable to view a dynamic view based on current user where the contact info is for the non-primary email. Is this an error or is that just the underlying logic telling me the contact info doesn't agree? Any work arounds or should I just replace all non-primary email references with the primary reference (at least for dynamic view). Thank you!
