No built-in search icon on sheets?

Good morning,

I feel like an idiot, but our sweet elderly volunteer called to ask me if there is no longer a search function in the sheet...sure enough, I cannot find a search icon/option in the icons on the sheet, or in the File drop down.

Am I just missing it? If not, why isn't there such, as search is a widely used and common option.

You can either use the following shortcuts or click the search bar at the top right and select the current sheet.

• Search in the sheet - CTRL (CMD on Mac) + F
• Search in Smartsheet (defaults to current sheet) - CTRL (CMD on Mac) + SHIFT + F

Thank you, Andree. Yes, I know we have the general search tab on the top right and can use the Ctrl+F within the sheet/report.

Our volunteer was hoping for a search icon within the sheet/report to easily click on. He said he'll just make a note to use Ctrl+F.

I just think it would make sense to have an icon available in the menu or toolbar for search as most other applications have as standard. ;)
