One entry, multiple days in a month
Hello,
I have a reasonable amount of experience with Smartsheet but am a bit stumped on how to approach my latest challenge. I would like to use Smartsheet to take in several data points for events over the course of a month. The challenge is the same event will take place over multiple days during the same month and I don't want to have a form completed for each date individually.
For example, if the event takes place on Feb 1st - 5th, but it is in different cities on each date, I would like to avoid completing 5 different forms to account for each instance of the event. Can anyone suggest a better way of data intake OR a way to use a form that I've not considered?
Thank you.

You could also look at automated requests for the duration of the event. Automatically Request Updates on Tasks | Smartsheet Learning Center
For the first time, the entry can be submitted using the form. For all the subsequent days of the event, you can have an automated update request sent to a user.

I hope you're well and safe!
Is the event on one or multiple rows? What kind of data is that you need to collect?
Can you describe your process in more detail and maybe share the sheet(s)/copies of the sheet(s) or some screenshots? (Delete/replace any confidential/sensitive information before sharing) That would make it easier to help. (share too, andree@workbold.com)
I hope that helps!
Be safe and have a fantastic week!

The data sheet has the name of the event, the date, a stage manager's name, city, state, and a column for notes. We've basically been using an excel document where each line is a different event date. As the events often times take place 15-20 days during a month, using a form would require that it be completed the same amount of times.

I'll take a look at that. Thank you for your input.
