Can I use a SUMIF formula to sum children rows?

Looking for help on writing a formula to be located in the Parent Row under the Forecast column Row 1 to sum children rows of all Salesperson except Mike.
I manually entered a formula =Value2 + Value3 + Value 5 in the Parent Row (90% Closing) Forecast column Row 1 to get the sum total of $700,000 that I am looking for, but want a formula to automatically calculate the total Forecast except for Salesperson Mike when I add more children rows under the 90% Parent Row.
Is SUMIF the way to go?

Hi @TSL255
I hope you're well and safe!
Try something like this.
=SUMIFS(CHILDREN(Value@row), CHILDREN(Salesperson@row), <>"Mike")
Did that work/help?
I hope that helps!
Be safe and have a fantastic weekend!

It looks like this formula is exactly what I need but doesn't seem to be working. Can someone tell me what I'm doing wrong? I get 0 when it should be 3.5
