how do i select single value multiple times from dropdown

i want to select a single value which is in dropdown, but i want it multiple times any way to solve it.

Let me see if I understand what you're looking to be able to do.

You want a multi-select column, and want to be able to select the same value multiple times in that same column? For example, to have choices of A, B, and C, and be able to select A, then another A, then another A, and have the column value then show: A A A

Is that correct?

I'm uncertain as to why my comment is the Accepted Answer, especially because if that is indeed what you are looking to do, the functionality just doesn't work like that. Even if I add the choices twice in the column properties, Smartsheet will only list each value once:

There's just no way to select the same value a second time once it's been selected.

The ONLY way to select the same value multiple times would be to make choices with multiple values, like so:
