Contact List Clean-up
Hi,
I'm new to a company, and new to their sheets as well and in trying to clean up an older sheet of existing consultants, it has former consultants listed and they get populated in the weekly schedule occasionally. I can't seem to delete them because they're not in my personal contact list (screenshot of contacts I can't delete). Is there any way for me, as an admin, to delete them? Or is the sheet owner the only one allowed to do this?
Thanks!

Hi @KatieS3941
There are a couple reason why a Contact may appear in your sheet or as an option to select.
1) The first thing to check is to make sure that they're not in any of the cells already in the column.
2) Once all the cells that contain this Contact have been cleared out or replaced, check the Column Properties to make sure this contact is not selected as a Value. (You can be an Admin to do this).
See: Tips and best practices for using contacts
3) You will also want to check who is Shared to the sheet; contacts that are Shared to the sheet will appear as an option to select in the dropdown.
4) If they're still appearing as an option, then this may be because the account is still associated with your company's Smartsheet Plan, and they're still a Member in your Admin Center. See: Admin Center: Add, Edit, and Delete Individual Users with User Management
Here's the list of all the contacts that will appear: Manage which contacts appear when you type in a cell
I hope this helps!
