Is there a way to trigger a workflow following an automated update second request?
I have created a an automated workflow to send update requests 2x if a cell is blank.
I want to create an automated assignment if the cell [Fail1] is not completed within a week after the second update request. Also, Fail1 has a formula to determine if a provider failed given 3 other criteria in other columns.
Is there a way to do this automatically? I am thinking I will need a helper column with a date that is a week after the second update request to trigger the assignment. If I do this, can you help with a formula to create a checkbox that I can use to trigger the assignment? Is it possible to create a formula using a cell with a formula already?
Thanks!

@Sherry Hamilton You should be able to do this with just an automation workflow.
Create a new workflow:
Trigger: When a date is reached (in your new helper date column.) Select time of day to run.
Conditions: Where Fail1 is not the value you expect in there AND where the checkbox column is not checked.
Action 1: Send an update request / alert / whatever
Action 2: Change cell value - to check the checkbox.
