WorkApps custom filters and export to MS Excel
Is there a way to allow users who have edit rights to a page in WorkApps to create custom filters and export the sheet to MS Excel? These features are available if you give someone edit permissions directly to the sheet but not when assigning permissions via WorkApps.

Hi @GilN
I hope you're well and safe!
Unfortunately, it's not possible now, but it's an excellent idea!
Please submit an Enhancement Request when you have a moment.
I hope that helps!
Be safe and have a fantastic weekend!

Thanks Andrée. I have already submitted an enhancement request. Hope this gets implemented soon as it may prevent me from using WorkApps. Otherwise, I really like it.
Hope you are also doing well.

I find myself in the same position as GilN. Has there been any resolution to this problem?

Is there any resolution to this? Need to download from workapp

@Andrée Starå I'm not sure if this is a newer function, but users can download from a dynamic view of a sheet or report. However, I have found that exporting to CSV is the default. Is there a way to make export to Excel the default? We just have to provide specific instructions to users to be sure to Save As in excel.

The export functionality is there from reports or dynamic views. However, from Workapps, there is no such option.
