Are we able to open linked items in a dashboard in a different tab?
When I have the ability to connect with a smartsheet or source information turned on when clicking on an item in a dashboard, it opens the item in the browser screen. Is there a way to click and have the item open in a different tab?

If you use the full hyperlink to the Smartsheet item, it will open in a new tab; if you use the 'link to a Smartsheet item', or 'open data source' options then it will open in the current tab.
Go to the Smartsheet item (sheet, report, etc.) you want to open in the new tab, click on the Share button and copy the full link. Then go to the dashboard widget (in edit mode) and change the widget behavior setting from 'open the data source" to "open another site" then paste the link.

I would love and option to open the true smartsheet item in another tab and leave the dashboard open, is this functionality forthcoming? TIA
