Re-approval.

Hi Everyone,

I have a sheet which requires approval from supervisor but I have discovered that sometimes the supervisor miss or forgot to approve or deny the request.

I want to know if there is any way that smartsheet automatically send the request again (request for reapproval) to the supervisor after certain time.

Under Automation, select create workflow.

Choose Trigger when a date is reach, or when desired. A date column is required.

When date is reached, alert someone: your supervisor.

You can duplicate this workflow and change the trigger to, for example 7 days after 'DATE CELL', to alert your supervisor in a week if he/she forgets to approve/ follow up. You can add a condition for this automation to not run when certain cell is of selected conditions; example condition: Approved column must be empty for alert to trigger.
