Why do I get the "changes" option in a Trigger rather than the "changes to" option?

I have set up workflows based on changes in a Dropdown (Multiple selection) cell. Some of them, allow me to set the trigger for when a value changes TO something different. But with others, it just gives me option of triggering the workflow when a value is changed. Why is this different? Some give the option of triggering when the drop down changes to a specific value and others just when the cell changes (and I cannot specify when it changed to what.)

Double check that the Interview Prep column is in fact set as a singe select dropdown type column.

Hi Paul, thanks! But I need the trigger to set off when a specific option is chosen in a Multi Select Drop down menu.

I'd like a reminder to be sent when the "General Intro Prep" box is checked, is that possible?

You would set up your trigger for whenever that cell changes to any value and include a condition where that cell contains "General Intro Prep".
