Hard constrain the dates of a task

Hi all,

We use the dependencies to determine the timings of most of our tasks. Some of the tasks need to have dates which are hard constrained (ex: missions at / for customers, holidays...) with the other tasks adapting to the hard constrained tasks. Is that possible?

There currently isn't a way in Smartsheet to both have a Predecessor set and have a hard constrained date. If you don't have a Predecessor for that row, then you can set a date and it won't change as you change the other tasks (and you can have dependent tasks still on this row, if needed). See: Enable Dependencies and Use Predecessors
