Keeping highlighted changes coloring with a row send.

I maintain a sheet to track customer complaint resolutions. When there is a significant change I send the row information to the people involved. Since there are a lot of columns I can see the changes made in the current day using the highlight changes today option. However those highlighted changes are not sent with the row information. It would make it much easier for the people involved to see what changed if the highlights would appear with the sent row data.

If you are manually sending the row, then the highlighted changes won't appear as the row will send with the sheet's underlying formatting. In this instance I would suggest only selecting the updated columns as the ones to send in the email (see: Send one or more rows via email).

However if you are using a workflow that is triggered by a Change in that row, in this instance the cells that have changed will actually be highlighted in the email that's received (see: Trigger frequent, change-based automations in batches and Trigger Blocks: Define When Your Workflow is Executed)
