Date not changing after predecessor is changed

Hi All

I imported an excel plan and enabled dependencies. Added predecessors but for some rows, the start/end dates are not changing even after predecessor and duration are added. Any idea how to get that working ?

What I would like to do is drive all the dates by predecessor

If you can share the screenshot of your sheet where the issue is then that will be helpful to figure out or suggest a fix.

I agree that it would be helpful to see a screen capture of your sheet, but please block out sensitive data.

You'll want to ensure that both your Start and End date columns are set as date type of columns, and that these are the ones selected in your Project Settings: Modify Project Settings

Thanks all. I was able to fix it. Not sure what the problem was but after some trial and error, I deleted one row and then reinserted it and everything started to work magically
