Smartsheet Keeps adding blank rows in between or rows
Any Idea why Smartsheet keeps adding blank rows in between of rows? Data is getting added to the Smartsheet via forms and not manually. Number of blank rows also varies from 1 to 8 for my case. Tried deleting all blank rows be it in between or at the bottom by selecting the row then, right click and selecting Delete option but it keep coming back.

Smartsheet automatically always adds ten empty/not activated rows at the bottom.
Try deleting all other empty rows except the last ten rows, and it should work.

Snap1 is of the blank lines which are marked in Red between 2 rows where we had data.
1 Interesting fact is that, when I right click on any of the cells of the blank rows to check cell History, the option is disabled (Refer Snap2).

Yes, the blank rows aren't activated, so they don't have any history.

Any solution to this? I am continually struggling with this myself. I have hundreds of blank rows for no reason.

Actually, I have 172 rows with content, and 14,225 row because of the blank row that are added. It's now affecting other sheets where I have calculations referencing this sheet because there are too many rows!

To all,
As per Smartsheet support team, blank rows are added by an user whether intentional or accidental. So the only way to deal with it is to select the rows, right click and select option Delete to delete them permanently. That's what I am doing since I don't have any other options left.
