Is there a way to save custom colours for dashboard widgets so they can be re-used?

Hello, hoping this community can assist. We have a number of corporate colours, which I have been asked to use for our dashboards - so titles, charts, etc. It works great except when I go to create a completely new dashboard that contains a chart, title, etc. widget, it doesn't retain these custom colours so I need to enter them in from scratch every time. Is there a way to save these custom colours so that they can be used across different dashboards for these widgets? There are a number of colours so it is painful typing in the hex# for each of these colours every time we create a new dashboard or portal.

Hi @tsuranyi,

you could probably just create a single dashboard with all of your colors and formatting preferences of all widgets as a base and then just "Save as new" each time have to create a new dashboard.

Thank you for the suggestion. We already have templates set up for our dashboards, but for ones that are completely new and different, we need to basically then clear out all the content from the template before populating it from scratch. Again, doable, but was hoping to find out if there was a way to save the custom colours.

I know these are all work arounds for your request, but I will throw them out anyways.

a rich text widget that has all of your hex or rgb colors listed for easy copy/paste

a dashboard that has all widget types with your colors, font, formatting, etc you could use to copy/paste to your new from scratch dashboard.
