Need a second pair of eyes on this formula please

Ok, I'm going crazy. I have used this formula 3 times already on my roll up sheet and it's working just fine, but suddenly I'm getting an INCORRECT ARGUMENT error.

I've been staring at formulas all day...am I missing something here??

=COUNTIFS({Program Schedule - Shell Mobility pt 4 Range 1}, "Stage 2", {Program Schedule - Part 4 Helper 2}, true)

@Paul Newcome tagging as always :)

Syntax looks correct. Did you double check the ranges have the same number of values, and both ranges exist? Sometimes ranges get deleted before they are used and you have to re-set them back up (you just have to select edit range to do this)

Yes, I even recreated the formula from scratch, re-referencing the other sheet...same issue and it's happening on 2 of my rows now...and the same range is working fine for a different value (ie. Stage 1 vs. Stage 2)

    It's making me nuts!

I would check the reference range for any formula's returning errors in individual cells then.

Is there any chance that it could be connected to the max limit of cell references? I keep getting that error intermixed with this one. It's hard to know, when I get that error, if it's the roll up sheet that it's telling me has reached the limit, or the sheet that I'm attempting to reference.

Is this referencing a single column, or multiple per reference? If it's a single column there shouldn't be a way for it to reach the max number of rows in 2 references.

Multiple. I actually had a working session with my Customer Success Manager and we took a look at the errors. It is due to the limitations. The sheets I am referencing are quite long.

    Thanks for your help troubleshooting!
