What's the difference and when would I use one VS the other since both require mapping of some sort?

    One triggers the other!

For example, say you already have a mapping set up with Document Builder to create a PDF from one of your rows. Instead of needing to manually go to the row to click a button to generate that document, you can now use a workflow to "click" that button at a specific time or based on another trigger (e.g when a checkbox is checked).

If you don't already have a mapping set up with Document Builder, you can do that at the same time as creating the workflow, but this still uses Document Builder separately. The workflow is the same as other Smartsheet Workflows, just with a different action (clicking the "Generate Document" for that row).

Let me know if that helps clarify the difference between the two!

    Cheers,
