How to compare # of properties in a sheet on a monthly basis?

Our client is constantly increasing and decreasing the amount of properties in their portfolio. We need to keep track of that increase/decrease on a monthly basis and act upon it when it increases/decreases by a certain percentage. How can I compare the number of properties on a monthly basis? i.e. 31 May 100 properties, 30 June 110 properties listed as active in the sheet. An increase of 10 %.

Of course I'd like this to be calculated automatically to present on a dashboard the first of every month and not by having to go into the sheet and do the math myself.
