Grouping (on a Report) by a Multi-Select Drop Down List

I have a Column (Multi-Select) Drop down List that will not "Group" on a Report, now that I have switched that Column to a Multi-Select Drop down list. Is that a thing? It was working fine, when it was a single list / text; but now that it has multiple items in some of the fields, it seems to get confused (which makes sense). Any way around this?

Ya, that's a thing that you cannot group multi-select columns. You could try creating a helper column that you group by instead:

It's just a formula of =MultiSelect@row ...it's just telling the cell to display what's in the other cell.

You can even turn word wrap on for the new column so the results are stacked to make it easier to read. I'm not sure how that will display on the report/grouping though...
