best way to set up attendance tracking
Hey Guys!
I am struggling with the best way to set up an attendance tracking log..
My company tracks attendance occurrences in a 12 months rolling period. I am trying to figure out the best way to track this to only count occurrences in the last 365 days. Any ideas?

ideally id love a form or even other sheet that will pull each staffs occurrences into a master sheet in the proper column, is that even possible?

You can achieve this by creating the separate sheet with form and create 1 master data which will calculate the attendance with the help of some formula.
Make sure the email or name should be consistent in both the sheets.
Then use COUNTIFS or SUMIFS to perform the calculations.
I hope this helps, and it would be great if you can share more details of the criteria for the calculations.

so I started a new sheet with a form. Leaders will fill out the form when their staff member is out
Then I think i want to use COUNTIF staff name is Staff 1 and date is less than 365 days old and get the total for each staff absences.
Then id like to import the totals to a Sheet similar to this,
